Regis D'Agostin assessed and organized the removal of
damaged lime stone, to be restored at a luxury mansion
in Beverly Hills, California. He prepared the cutting
list. Recruited a team of stone masons, specializings
in stone restoration. Supervised all layout, pre-setting,
installation and restoration of the project. Mr D'Agostin
demonstrated once again an exceptional attention to
detail and quality. Completing the project both on time
and with in budget.

Client: 'Rodeo Collection', Beverly Hills, California,
USA
Précis:
The New York Times calls Rodeo Drive the 'the world's
most prestigious shopping street' and Regis D'Agostin
has played a key role in weaving some of its magic,
with his work on 413 Rodeo Drive and 421 Rodeo Drive.
D'Agostin designed the stone work, selected the materials,
corresponded with the local and overseas fabricators,
prepared the cutting list and selected, recruited and
supervised more than 25 local stone installers. In addition,
he recruited and supervised all the subcontractors required
for the project, which included roofers, plumbers, masons,
stucco experts, glazers and electrical contractors.
Also during this time, D'Agostin created Travertine
mosaic displays for Stefano Ricci's retail store at
418 Rodeo Drive (Stefano also has retail stores in New
York, Monte Carlo, Shanghai and Los Angelos).
2000-2001

Précis:
Regis D'Agostin oversaw the selection and design of
marble, stone and granite for this residential project.
He prepared the cutting list and negotiated with the
Italian fabricators. He then recruited and supervised
all employees, from installation through to completion.
1999-2000

Client: Private owner in Torino, Italy
Précis:
Regis D'Agostin oversaw the selection and design of
marble for this mansion in Torino, Italy. The project
comprised the creation of an exquisite 1600 square metre
mosaic. D'Agostin supervised the team of 20 subcontractors
involved in its formation over a 10-month period, demonstrating
exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment
to quality.
1998-1999
Role: Stone Consultant
Client: Campenon Bernard SGE, France
Précis:
French company Campenon Bernard SGE commissioned Regis
D'Agostin to work on the Jin Mao Tower and Grand Hyatt
Hotel, both in Shanghai, China. In Italy and China,
D'Agostin selected all the marble, stone and granite
for the Tower, which is the highest building in China
and the third highest building in the world. Collaborating
with the famous American architects who designed the
commanding structure, Slidmore, Owing & Merrill
LLP, D'Agostin supervised the fabrication in Italy and
China. He supervised 800 people working on the project
and was also in charge of the Quality Control Department
team for all the fabrication, installation, layouts
and pre-settings of the entire project. D'Agostin then
added the finishing touches to the Chinese subcontractors'
work to achieve the remarkable final results.
1986-1998

Client: Pacific Triangle, Beverly Hills, California,
USA
Précis:
When Regis D'Agostin entered the US market in 1986,
his reputation of excellence - and specialisation in
luxury residences - preceded him. He commenced work
on two luxury retail stores: 443 Rodeo Drive and the
retail store Whatne on Sunset Strip. D'Agostin first
created the artistic stone shop drawings and prepared
cutting lists, then corresponded with major French and
Italian fabricators to source marble, stone and granite.
He transformed his artistic designs into rock solid
reality by supervising the work of subcontractors on
these projects.
1984-1986
Role: Superintendent and Stone Consultant
Client: SGE, France
Précis:
Regis D'Agostin worked on the Royal Military College
and Museum in Hisban, Jordan, which featured Navona
Travertine and Jordanian Limestone. D'Agostin supervised
56 Portuguese and Moroccan stone setters and polishers
during construction. At this time, he also worked on
the residence of Modar Badran (former Chief of the Jordanian
Secret Service) in Amman, Jordan. He supervised seven
outstanding Moroccan setters to complete the work in
White Carrara on both the internal and external features
of the residence, as well as a marvelleous mosaic indoor
swimming pool. During this period, he also worked on
the Meridian Hotel in Cairo, Egypt. For all projects,
D'Agostin prepared the stone shop drawings and cutting
tickets. He carefully chose the Italian, French and
Jordanian stone and marble suppliers and corresponded
with major Italian and Jordanian fabricators. He also
supervised all layouts, pre-setting and installation.
1980-1984
Role: Superintendent and Stone Consultant
Client: Soldo Marble, Milan, Italy
Précis:
Regis D'Agostin cut his way into architectural history
with work on the Amman Plaza Hotel in Amman, Jordan.
His role included the preparation of cutting lists and
supervision of fabrication and installation. Calacatta
and Travertine were used as the materials and D'Agostin
supervised a crew of 15 Moroccans.
1978-1980
Role: Assistant to Stone Consultant
Client: Marmostil, Milano, Italy
Précis:
Italian company Marmostil built the Hyatt Regency Hotel
in Jeddah, Saudi. Regis D'Agostin prepared drawings,
cutting lists, selected the Italian marble and granite
used in the hotel's construction, negotiated with fabricators
and supervised the installation and pre-setting.
1977-1978
During this period, Regis D'Agostin undertook military
service in the French Special Forces.
1974-1977
Role: Assistant Stone Consultant
Client: SPCR, Toulon, France
Précis: Regis D'Agostin worked as a stone setter.
He also prepared drawings of stone details and selected
materials. Some of the highlights of his work during
this period were L'Annonciade in Monte Carlo, private
residences in St Tropez and Port Grimaud and the Fountain
of the Casino de Cassis.
